Time to Organize!

Boutique Boot Camp-Lesson 2....Having a home based boutique means you will need to have some items to keep you organized and professional. There's never been a better time to get your boutique in order than now!

If you don't already have a dedicated area just for your boutique, now's the time to carve one out. This can be a spare room, a garage, or even a corner of your home. You don’t need a ton of space, but you do want enough to do your job efficiently.

Once you’ve identified your space, you’ll want to organize the flow. You’ll want to have a place to store your merchandise, a desk to do your work, and a space to do your Facebook live sales. If you are having your boutique open to the public, you’ll also want a space for a small dressing area.

As you design your space, you’ll want to make it as appealing to your audience as possible. Since more than likely your items have lots of colors, pick décor that is neutral and classic. Rustic woods, shabby chic, etc. never go out of style and appeal to most everyone! You can throw pops of color in with accessories, like rugs, pillows, wall décor, office supplies, etc.

In addition to your home boutique, you’re going to want supplies to take your boutique on the road. You’ll also need supplies for your home office as well. I’m going to break those 3 categories down with my suggestions of items I’ve found to be helpful!
